I will say one thing the Jones are economical with baby step trades. Am I the only on that could see this team making real progress with our Draft? I fully support the trade now that it has happened but had to turn the radio up to make sure I heard correctly the price of admission.
Initially I thought upon the trade that we could of just signed Dez again and swallowed our pride. I am off the ledge and looking forward to seeing how Dak and Amari create the synergy this team so desperately needs. The coaches are now taking steps to walk the plank whether this trade gives them a reprieve is doubtful IMO. If this trade just frees up Zeke a little it will help immensely as he had no chance this last weekend.

The “like” for thread title and the laugh it illicited

So now that cooper is here, bring Dez back on the other side? Might as well go all in for this crap show

This move irritates me to no end - that Stevie didn’t even barter, just gave up the first

As many have already pointed out, the problem in Dallas isn't wrs getting open. Cooper will just be another guy Dak can't hit with the ball. I don't see why opposing defenses would change what they are doing.

This is how simpleminded are fan base is. It is common knowledge that Gruden is the new sheriff in town with the Raiders. He is the reason they are selling recent high draft picks. He got the huge contract and with it total control of the football operations there.

So...knowing that, our fans believe that because Stephen Jones placed a call to Reggie McKenzie that means Stephen is in charge in Dallas.

Because McKenzie apparently must be the final decision maker in Oakland too.

And that will now become part of our distorted fan timeline. Remember when Stephen traded for Amari Cooper?

It's all about who is on the phone.

Call up any company. That secretary wields all the power.

We are surrounded by geniuses.

I could care less who decides on the Raiders personnel choices, I have little doubt Stephen will thump his chest if this does indeed shift power to the Cowboys along with glory. My take is at the very least this deal will identify the problems on offense with little wiggle room for excuses. More to the point I trust the draft team more than the FO these days, they have put the talent on the table. You as a superfan have to decide if the coaches are getting the most out of the traits we have drafted. I am still in mourning for the loss of Danny Coale and Jimmy Smith.
