I was just reminded that my daughter used to date Jason Castro. I say "date." It was in the 5th grade. I remember dropping her off at the movies with him. His parents picked up.

She was so nervous cos he was the most popular kid in ythe school and he was a year older than her.

Anyway, just a little sports story for ya.

I think so. I just looked up his picture today after my daughter e-mailed me about him. Obviously he didn't have the dreads in the 5th grade. If memory serves, he was a very well mannered kid back then.

The only IDOL I typically watch is the initial auditions. The train wreck factor is too much for me to miss. But since my lovely fiance' watches it all the time, I'll get her to let me know when he's coming on so I can try and catch a glimpse of this kid to see if he has a shot.

He was pretty good and seemed to be a nice kid.

It would be an upset if David Archuletta loses. He even has Randy singing with him.

the kid is 16 and he hasn't missed a not yet. Amazing vocals. I hope the Rocker gal that sounds like Janis Joplin goes home tonight. She annoys me terribly but there are probably enough Rockers around to keep her another few weeks.

The last four gals last night were the best of the group. The first few gals last night were just gorgeous to look at tho. I won't mind if they keep them around a few more weeks to look at them. They can lipsinc to Mili Vanilli and I won't mind.

He's good. Reminded me of Jack Johnson on his last song.

She's who I am rooting for, but I love Janis. That's a big reason why.

I tried to watch tonight but I missed his performance. I did see that he didn't get cut, so I'll be sure and catch it next week.

I guess I'll be rooting for him to win the whole thing, but then again, if he does...................UUUGH!!

They might as well go ahead and cancel the rest of the show. That 17 yr old kid, David Archuleta is amazing. Pitch perfect and personality to go with it. He hasnt hit a bad note yet much less a bad song.

It is his to lose. The video of him singing to Kelly Clarkson 7 yrs ago showed he had talent then and probably would have been a finalist then.

the kid can already market his rendition of Imagine and sell a million copies. The kid is a voice prodigy. INcredible tone. Here is his performance from Tuesday night.

I think he sounds to "fake" to be a marketable star. He can sing probably better than anyone on the show, but I don't think he's that marketable.
