...Jordin Sparks of Glendale, Arizona and the daughter of former Dallas Cowboy, Phillipi Sparks.

There isn't a single doubt about it. The girl can flat out sing.

Blake kinda got screwed on that last song. Not his style at all, and a perfect style for Jordin. I think they should have 3 songs that they both sing. One in each of their best styles, and another one neither is particulary strong in.

I agree Jordin should be the winner but stranger things have happened.

All I know is they saved the best for last when Daughtry performed.

Show's how much more superior last season was compared to this one.

I thought the first song he did was definitely more his style. And the song Jordin did by Aguilera wasn't. She had no oomph in it. Great voice, but she couldn't really bring it.

Personally, I was pretty underwhelmed by both contestants. Simon summed it up best. Blake, as a performer, was decent, I guess. Too gimmicky for me. If you're not a strong singer, then I prefer you be at least a strong musician. Like Prince. Doesn't have a great voice, but he's such a strong musician.

Jordin has an ok voice. Powerful, but she still sounds like a little girl. And when she tries to bring range, you can hear the strain sometimes. Then she ends up sounding like she's yelling. As a pure singer, she's better than Blake, but I would take any of the past Idol winners over her.

And I agree Aikmaniac, Daughtry was great. Truly enjoyed his performance.

Every time I hear that Daughtrey song I want to kill kittens...but hey that's me.

As an aside...the final two are not as talented as Lakisha and Melinda. Overall this season was terrible. The only thing that saved it was Sanjaya...seriously, he brought attention to a dismal season.

It was the worse season since Fantasia won. They really need to redeem themselves next year as Dancing with the Stars beat them in ratings last night.
