Hi everyone. This is my first post. I'm not a big NFL fan, but I'm a dieheard Stanford Cardinal fan and since Mark Bradford has come to the Cowboys, I thought I'd join in on some discussions. I think you guys got a real steal here. I'll be stunned if he doesn't make your roster. Here's a column on Bradford from the campus newspaper. Check it out.

Also, I scanned this forum and found the posting that was copied over from another team's forum. That writer makes very good points as well.

Anyway, I think you're lucky to have this kid. Stand up guy. Both parents died early, and yet he is one of the best young men you'll ever meet.

I found a bio for bradford if anyone is interested;

from pro football weekly 6-0 1/2 215 4.61

Joe, Bradford ran a 4.49 at his pro day (some watches had him even faster) and is about an inch taller than that. Weight is correct, though.

Well....let's hope they have found something with Bradford and Amendola......because frankly I just don't see much from Sam (no seperation) Hurd and Mile (no hands) Austin.

Is it possible we got a Steal in Him?, I have read nothing but Good things about Bradford.

Amish, I'd say so. I'm stunned he wasn't drafted. I really don't see the negatives. He has recovered very well from his injury two years ago. Other than that, he does everything right.

Love this signing.

Bradford & Flex Jones high character and team mentality offset the me-first attitude/character concerns brought about by the acquisition of Pacman, Scandrick, Jenkins & Bennett.

I'm so glad the Cowboys added Mark to the roster. After the draft completed with no WR taken I started reading up on the UDFA WRs and for some reason his bio popped out. I'll be pulling for him this summer.

Between Bradford and Amendola, Miles Austin should be very concerned.

He better be trying to find out what the area code for Miami is.

Drew Boylhart the Huddle report guy thinks he is a potential #1 Receiver, take that's for what its worth.

Bradford should have a hard time making the roster. Owens and Crayton are definitely on the roster. If healthy, so is Terry Glenn. Stanback isn't likely to be cut this soon, especially with Jerry's love for him. They may keep 6 WR's, but still will likely keep Miles Austin because of his speed and kickoff returns. That comes down to Hurd and Bradford and I'd probably be more likely to keep Hurd, a relatively young guy with some experience who can play all three wideout spots over the rookie Bradford.

Gret assestment but I tend to disagree with you on just one. I don't feel Austin is that valuable now with the addition of so many return guys in the draft. As a matter of fact, if he does not excel in the return game then I dn't see him having a chance. If this kid go out and show the talent that everyone is raving about, I feel Miles days in Big D are coming to an end.
