An early attempt at the final 53

I was trying to do this today at work, and this is tough let me tell you.

Sadly, we will have to lose one of these players somewhere if McBriar cant kick off because we will need a specialist. The only spot Im really willing to lose someone is FS, where if Davis progresses or Watkins shows he can start it wouldnt bother me to see Coleman go.

Another interesting point of note here is all the rookie free agents that are in town right now, usually at least one or two makes it, but that may not be the case this year.....which is a good sign that the strength of our roster is really coming along and that we are drafting well.

Lastly, Im well aware of how silly it is to project our final 53 before training even starts, but Im a psycho obsessed Boys fan and I cant help it

Loudaceur might be kept as LS, but I believe they looed at Pearce for this last year and was on the verge of making the roster, but was injured, broken foot I think, you you may be right. Ryan could push Pearce also.
Polite won't be there
Doubt they keep 10 OL, Peterman may be odd man out if he deosn't show anything in camp.
DL...don't forget about Ratliff and Johnson, Ratliff was playing well before his injury, BP likes Pepper.
Copper may be replaced by UDFA Miles Austin, size and speed if he can play special teams. With Davis back on ST and LB Boiman is supposed to be a ST ace also. Could make Copper expendable if his WR play don't produce.
Not sure Fowler makes it, we have Shanle, New kid in Parham could push him, and don't forget about Kalen Thornton coming off an injury.
I like Jones at CB also, but may be squeezed out to keep and extra DL or LB. His ST spot can be replaced by one of the guys mentioned above.

Overall, I picked basically the same 53, so your not the only one looking ahead past camp.

we are definitely keeping 5 CBs, that's standard
Not sure we can suit 3x NTs though,
Not sure what we'll do with Burnett...he probably won't be able to play until a few games into the season. The LB roster spot playout should be interesting for sure.
I don't think Copper will last, I think Hurd or Austin beats him out.
Be interesting to see what we go with along the OL, if Whitely is good enough he may take Peterman's spot, who I think is probably on thin ice. Third year player needs to show something.

I have a hard time believing we wont carry any FBs at all....maybe its the old school in me, but I just cant see not having a FB.

Secondly in all fairness to me I did include Thomas Johnson, hes second on the DTs. I cant see us carrying more than 4 DEs...and Parcells says he expects Hatcher to play this year, so I think he makes the roster over Ratliff, Ratliff can go on the PS and be the 4th DE next year when Ellis is gone

Your absolutely right on Fowler though, Shanle gets that spot...dont know what I was thinking on that. I think Parham makes the PS but not the roster this year.

Lastly, as the other guy said, no way we go into the season with only 4 corners
