QB: I'm down on Romo and he cost Dallas the game last night. But I'm not giving up on him just yet. He's had a bad run the last 6 games or so, no question. Now for the other positions:
RB: Maybe not a better trio in the league
WR: I'm not sold on Roy W. He couldn't shake Webster all night. Dallas desperately needs him to be a number 1. I hope he can be. Austin, Hurd and Crayton are all nice players. I feel better about Crayton as the #2 this year. At some point, it would seem to make sense to give your young QB a day one WR to work with. Call me crazy.....somone like Steve Smith or Manningham. Ya know, the guys that torched us last night.
TE: Dallas is loaded here
OL: Solid starting group that has been together a while. They are aging and no one knows what Dallas has behind them. Maybe Free is good, maybe he's not.
DL: Ratliff is great. Igor is good against the run, as is Spears. I think the Dallas pass rush misses Canty's occasional penatration that didn't give the QB a lane to step up into. Hatcher hasn't developed as expected.
LB: Ware is great. James is solid. When you have to sign Brooking to shore up your ILB position, that's not good. Losing Ellis has hurt because Spencer isn't getting it done yet. His development is a huge key.
DB's: Why can't Dallas draft a good young saftey? Hamlin isn't that good. Sennsabaugh is pretty good, but I hope jerry doesn't decide he needs a big contract like Hamlin. Good talent at CB, but let's hope Newman isn't on the decline.
This is a good, not great starting 22 on a team that clearly lacks depth at several positions.
