Someone who has visited the new Stadium told me the issue with the scoreboard isn't about a ball being kicked into it.

Its that it will be hard for the players not to be distracted by it when they are returning kickoffs and punts deep in their own territory.

Anyone who has been think this could be a concern?

nope cause you're getting payed millions of dollars to do your job. not to mention if you get distracted chances are you're gonna get jacked up and maybe seriously hurt.

Home field advantage. Our players should be used to it... theirs hopefully will be distracted.

I'll never forget my first game in a big college stadium. It was actually a basketball game.

I was our point guard. During warm-ups Coach noticed me looking straight up at the scoreboard. I was impressed to see how high it was off the floor. Anyway, Coach pulled me aside and pointed out the two scoreboards on both sides of the floor. He said, "I want you looking at the clocks on the ends....don't try to look straight up."

I had no trouble during the game.

I think the professionals will handle it. They've seen this type of thing before.
