An Open Letter: Welcome to Dallas, Mr. Owens

If he's coming here I hope he breaks his leg before he arrives. I just can't stomach that scum wearing the star.
I'm guessing you won't be joining us for the weekly "Thank God we signed TO" thread starting in the Fall.

;)

If I was a Cowboys fan, the first thing that I would want is an sincere apology for what he did. I dont care if he did in the past, now hes a part of your team, on Monday he should apologize, otherwise I would not root for him. But whatever, he is your player, do what you must.

So agree with this!

Yeah that should last about three or four games before T.O. decides he dosent have enough millions to feed his family.

Poor Poor T.O.

I'm sorry but I find it a bit short-sighted to sign T.O. We're not one player away and T.O. likely has two years of top-drawer football in him (and that's not taking into account the likely chemistry problems that will crop up before then.) So unless we get the O-line fixed, I don't see us being much better this year simply because we have T.O. instead of Key (who I'd rather have, given his price tag.)

And, ironically, we're very likely to add more than one player this offseason.....

Hey, I'm against TO in Dallas, but that was freakin' funny.

Per ESPNews, T.O. reps are DENYING that he indeed signed with the Cowboys!!
Looks like someone jumped the gun. Still probably happen however.

Well, Terrell, I can only assume that now that you've agreed to sign with America's Team, your first stop will be to see what the true fans are saying on the premier Cowboy's message board: CowboysZone.com.

If so, then let me be the first to officially welcome you.

As of 15 minutes ago, I hated you, but now you're a Dallas Cowboy, a member of the greatest team ever, and I'll root for you to help my team acheive greatness.

I know you'll play with effort, but I hope you'll treat the honor of being a Cowboy with respect. I'm willing to forgive your transgressions on the Star, if and only if, you comport yourself from here on out with the honor of a Cowboy.

Welcome to Dallas... now behave! (and win!)

** Now post your welcome message to Mr. Owens. ** :D

Well now that's a hard way to learn that you never, ever, ever believe it until it's posted on a legit source - ESPN, SI, NFL.COM, DMN, FWST, KFFL, Sporting News...

Mr. Owens:

Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys, the most storied NFL franchise and the league's best fans. We play old school football here, I hope that you can appreciate that. This is strictly a business relationship, you get your money, your touchdowns and the world's biggest stage, and in exchange we expect nothing short of a Superbowl trophy.

Skaven

PS: POST 2000 !!!

TO,

Do whatever you want but win while doing it.

F the Haters.

I am not a hater. I don't hate anybody anywhere anytime anyhow.
But whatever negative feelings some fans have, TO brought them on himself. A group of fans didn't just say hey, lets hate on TO. Some fans realize from studying his history and the effects he had on every team he has been a part that we don't want that kind of player coming in and making a circus out of the Cowboys. But that is a little late. All the Cowboy sites I have visited already is a TO circus and in a few days the main tent will arrive in Dallas.

I'm sure if Dallas wins a SB while TO is here even if he is just sitting on the sidelines that he will be the reason we won. I'm sure that Ware, Canty, Roy, Newman, Julius, Witten etc. will have nothing to do with it. He is already the MVP on the Boy's team and his circus hasn't arrived yet. So get your tinsel and flags and band out to greet the conquering hero.

Yeah, that'll happen... that arrogant SOB won't ever apologize for anything...

And even if he does, I'll still NEVER root for him...

NEVER... the only thing he could do to make me happy is die...

So, I guess you can put me down as "undecided"... ROTFLMAO...

They don't allow that kind of language on this board... but if they'd relax that rule for just an hour, I'd be shickled titless to tell you what I think...

after what Irvin & Erik did (with their reprehensible conduct) in the '90s i don't much care what TO does here... he can be a subhuman cretin as long as he performs to his capacity as we can pencil in a handful of extra wins... probably in the playoffs.

everything has a price, so does winning.

lets see some winnin' in big D again.

Dear TO,

Do your thing (not the opening your mouth thing. The winning games and dominating thing), show BP and JJ respect, and after you score your first TD go to the star and kiss it.
