Saw this posted somewhere and think it's a pretty good point. With the exception of the interior OL I agree, Dallas is looking GREAT!


I'll also add dez FINALLY with a full training camp and preseason (rookie year was injured and last year practically none). And a healthy Murray

So excited for 2012!!

I would wait until training camp, preseason and how the Cowboys open up the regular season before saying they're looking great. They always appear to look "great" to a lot of FANS this time of year. It's easy for a team to look great when they haven't blocked or tackled anyone yet. I learned a long time ago that you have to wait until the Cowboys hit the field in Sept before you can make an accurate evaluation of what kind of team they may have. Even then you never really know with the Cowboys until Dec/Jan arrives.

The trend the Cowboys have developed the past several years has been to get off to an up and down start through Sept-Oct then catch fire in Nov and collapse in Dec/Jan. I'm going to be looking for consistency and improvement as the season goes on and hope the Cowboys can finally come back from the Thanksgiving break and finish the season up strong.

You're welcome. I feel funny bad-mouthing my team only to turn around and pretend I didn't just bad-mouth my team on Sundays. I'm going to give it up until and unless we go to or win the Super Bowl. So maybe I'll do it again next year.

On top of all the secondary help, I'm equally as impressed to see our line backing corps this year. Lee has done nothing but make improvements,
and the competition is open as far as Carter/Connor. We shed a few names that were familiar to us and that we liked but ultimately we got younger,more athletic and hungrier as far as line backer goes.
Not to mention having the best outside rushing backers in the league...:beer2:

Might as well be optimistic while we can....if they fail we will have plenty of time to talk about how they screwed up.

I'm heading into this season with a quiet confidence....I just feel like we are going to get a good read on whether Garrett's approach is working.
