That's just The Associated Press story. ESPN didn't have anything to do with it.

I'm sure if anyone from ESPN wrote a game story, it might start something like this --

"SAN FRANCISCO -- The Dallas Cowboys somehow pulled out a lucky win Sunday, but the San Francisco 49ers won when it really mattered, in the 1981-82 NFC Championship Game, when Hall of Famer Joe Montana threw the greatest game-winning touchdown pass in NFL playoff history."

Or something like that.
