that catch by Holmes was not a TD, he was in the end zone when he caught the ball.
We had those guys, now I'm upset again. we need to win tonight.

Just so everyone knows, I am a big T.O. fan, but when or if he does something wrong, I will be the one of the first to get on him.

So here's to him and the rest of the team playing as a team and winning a s a team today.

Probably because it didn't really look like it crossed the plane, much less irrefutably did so.

rules say it has to be indisputable that he had two feet in, had possession, and the ball BREAKS the plane.

maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. but no one thinks it was enough to reverse the ruling on the field.

just a little weird. every terrible call with huge implications seems to go for the Steelers!

More than a little weird. It was a terrible game changing call. Refs handed the game to the Steelers. No way they go for it in that situation with the division on the line.....

No way the replay "irrefutably" showed the ball crossing the plane. Ref decided to substitute his own judgement.

They've also been getting the lucky bounces-when a Pitt PR fumbled, it bounced straight into another Steeler, and they ended up getting very good field position.

Alot like last week when that punt hit Tra Battle's leg accidentally. Otherwise, we would have put that game away.

Ill say it again...if you are going to beat the stealers, you gotta beat the refs too...PERIOD:star:

That wasn't the only review the Ravens got screwed on. In the first half about midway in their own territory, the Steelers were given a first down after a run on third and one. The replay CLEARLY showed the RB wasn't even close to the mark. At least 1/2 yard short. The Ravens challenged. Was it over turned? What do you think?

The Steelers have been getting bad calls their way since the 1970s, and I hate them for it.

If a call can be blown in the Steelers favor, you can bet your *** it will be at the most crucial time in the game.

All I need to know is I saw the play and I know that the refs got it completely wrong. Ravens got hosed on this play.

In my opinion, the Steelers have benefited from a number of controversial calls.

Oh well. It's not like you can ask them to give it back. If that was Dallas and we got that call you wouldn't see anyone here complaining about it. Bad calls happen and someone is always going to benefit from it and someone is always going to be hosed by it.

I don't think it was a catch either but I do think they go for it on 4th and get the td anyway.

at least then they would have been forced to win the game legitimately.

Rooney is a yes man so his team gets the benefit of marginal calls.
