I loved guys like this. Like my coach use to say, I want a mean mofo that will spit in the corner, football is not a sport for sissies or choir boys.

What most won't get is that in a disturbing way I know his teammates loved him and some where right now some one is talking about one of their favorite Haley stories and laughing their arses off.

The average fan would be completely disgusted if they knew a third of the things that was either said or took place in the confines of the locker room.

Haley also had some notorious bouts with an OL of the 49ers. I forgot his name but he has 4 SB rings. Haley was caught standing on the guy's car roof peeing on the car. Hakey is certifiable nuts. How this guy stayed out of jail is a miracle. Could you imagine TO and Haley on the same team?

We watch these players every Sunday and would like to meet them. But, many are really just a bunch of wacked-out nuts.

Oh and don't start that crap "say it too his face". There are a lot of people in the world who I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley and Haley is one of them but that doesn't make him ok. In this case "might" does not make right. Because there are a lot of scary white people too and I'm sure they would have no problem telling Haley just exactly what they feel about black people. Does that make them right? How about the KKK? Numbers give's them the might to say what they want. Does that make them right? Just because I don't have the desire to allow Haley to put me in a hospital doesn't mean that it's ok for him to do and say the racist things that he has. And the fact that there are people on here that think it's ok for him to do so worries me.

Yeah, everyone can preach on a message board, doesn't much matter what the message is.

If you want to change the world, go out and start making a difference. One of the biggest problems in the world today is so many want to talk about change, and then they feel better. Few actually want to assume the risks or deal with the consequences.

Perhaps you will live worried your entire life. You can't fence the world out, you can only fence yourself in.

No this behaviour is not acceptable, even from the great Charles Haley. I'm sorry but that attitude isn't tolerated from anyone else, so why is it ok from him. I knew that he was a head case when he came over but I didn't know it was that bad. How come racism is horrible if it's a white person committing it but it's ok if a black person is doing it? Ryan Leaf loses it and tells a reporting to "never talk to him again!" and he is ridiculed the rest of his career but Haley can go on a **'er parade and he's the greatest ever. Why is that exactly? Is it talent or is it a double standard? He may have helped us get superbowl wins but I sure wish we could have done it without him. He was trash before he got here and apparently he was trash the whole time he was here. I personally don't care if he goes in as a cowboy or not. In fact, I hope he doesn't.

The double standard is life now bud,get used to it.I am not saying I agree with it but It is what it is.
