And why exactly did the Cowboys get Montrae Holland?

Just wondering why the Cowboys pick up offensive lineman Montrae Holland? Was it for depth?

The Cowboys sure talked like Montrae Holland was more than just another guy on the roster. The Cowboys sure made it seem like Holland, 6-2 and 322LB's would be an impact player.

With Kosier being out and the struggles of Cory Proctor and the rest of the O-line, why not give the six year veteran from Florida State a shot?

Montrae's size and experience could help re-ignite this struggling O-line.

I think the Oline has a lot to do with chemistry, maybe he doesnt have it.Kosier needs to come back in the worst way.

I'm wondering if it's not something from the shoulders up that is keeping him from contributing more.

That describes over half the team.

I was hoping that getting more of Holland would be one of the changes we've been promised.

Maybe they aren't quite comfortable with his O-Line penalty making abilities yet.

:hammer: False-Start-Adams is still training him:cry:

Proctor has not been stellar or bad. He's not the porous pass blocker right now. I'm not certain Proctor is our best choice for run blocking OTOH.

Hopefully all will see what many said about Kosier being a lot better than some gave him credit for. Still LOG is not a big problem in light of all the other problems IMO.

howbout maybe kosier probably wont get resigned and just like williams he is a player that is more about helping the team in the future than right now.

The supposed answer is he's not very smart, but no one on the O-line is playing very smart so what the heck play him.

Thought I saw him in quite a bit last Sunday ?

Yeah, I did too. Midway through the 4th quarter I think. I focused on him and he seemed to do a good job for the most part. Until he passed-on a stunting defender to Gurode who watched him run right by.

Proctor was getting flat-out destroyed last week and should not be starting anymore. There is no justification for him being in anymore.

The fact is, even Flozell has been sucking and I called him out prior to his imminent collapse. Does it have to do with the fact he is too concerned with the play of Proctor, I have no idea... But considering the track record of Adams and Proctor, I'll go with the notion that he is worried about what Proctor is doing.

He did start 16 games last year for Denver. Maybe it's for next year when they move L.Davis to tackle???
