There are a handful of players on this team that will usually find a way to screw up, and Gurode is one of them.

I dont think Gurode needs to go. I think he can play guard but his snaps at center is terrible we need another center. Maybe a veteran next year and keep phil costa as the back up then start him if he progress the following year.

this it one the mark, also HH has to follow suit, but get a new offensive line coach and input with the draft and let him work with garrett.

Next year Garrett is still going to have holes, lets face it, but play with whats not so bad compared to cutting the fat. Its just that, reality.

The guy is playing with degenerating knees. I think he'd be good blocking straight ahead, but I don't think he'd hold up having to pull game in/game out. And a guard has to be able to pull, even if it's from one A/B gap to the other. I think he'd eventually become a liability just like Davis.

I absolutely agree with this and the players you mentioned. Get them some game experience and also help show whether or not they may be able to take over in the near future.

One of those bad snaps was on Kitna. But when was the last time we talked about bad snaps from Gurode? Have you even heard from the guy all season?

People really want Costa in over Gurode when he was semi-horrible against the Giants? People really need to watch DTs around the league push centers into the backfield on almost every single block play to get perspective on what we have.

He's the starter and will be the starter for some years to come. There's a reason that even publications that called out Davis for being overrated still deem Gurode an all pro center.

I've been down on Gurode for years; he's way overrated and is in serious decline.

For those with the ability to rewatch the game, keep an eye on Gurode and watch how many times he literally sits in the pocket with his arms by his side as the defenders are beating blocks inside on the gaurds.

He's inept.

It's simple - our OL is terrible. When you're worried about being blown off the ball every single play stuff like Gurode's snaps happen. All night long when the Cowboys passed the pocket would take no more than 2 seconds to completely collapse all around Kitna. The way Kitna managed the football tonight was nothing short of amazing giving how atrocious our line is.
