Kansas head coach David Beaty, who has coached in the Big 12 and SEC, believes Baylor's Andrew Billings is the best DL he's seen since Ndamukong Suh.
This is according to Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman. Billings went down with an ankle sprain during last weekend's game against West Virginia but returned to the field. Would have been great when we were in the 3-4 but I don't think the Cowboys will like him for this scheme. Weren't they against drafting Malcom Brown because they thought he wasn't a quick-twitch type of DT like Crawford?

I doubt they ever take any 1 Tech type in the first while Marinelli is here.

Marinelli actually liked Floyd and said he would be a beast but its not a position he wants to use a first round pick on

Very Strong and Relentless motor, in that respect he is very similar to A.Donald...however I don't think he is fast a first step and as good at Donald in getting in the backfield.

A good 3-tech becomes a below average 1-tech when the 1-tech he's playing next to doesn't require two guys to block him.

Opposing offensive lines are fine with putting one guy on Hayden and two on Crawford, because Hayden can't even get off of one blocker, much less two.

For Crawford to be judged fairly, he needs a real 1-tech next to him.

Buckner played a considerable amount of DT in his time at Oregon, but I guess Billings is more of a 1T so I see what you're saying.

Seems to me we should learn that a good player is a good player. I think he would be much much better then some of the JAG's we have currently playing that position.
