What round do you guys think he will go in? He's only 21 he had 5.5 sacks and 15 tackles for a loss and also taking on double teams all season. I've heard this guy is one of the strongest players in this draft. Absolute beast.. Thoughts?? Be a great pickup at the 1 tech position

I didn't watch him in college but would love to hear from the guys who did. He is obviously a beast physically but he also seems like he needs more coaching on technique. This draft is so deep in DTs at the top of the draft that some of them are going to drop to our pick at 34, it would be a gift if Billings was that guy.

Brugler on the draft show today said he could fall to 34 based on his height and that was on the ground a lot.

Gone around 12-15. If Goff is gone at 4 I kinda wish we would trade down and snatch him up...

Needs work with pad level and has nothing other than a bull rush....but he's a physical freak who can control the line of scrimmage like few others. Plus, as others have noted, he's young and still has plenty of time to develop. 12 wouldn't shock me but id say 15-20 range.

Trying to predict where a player will be drafted while its still February is a fools errand... so here goes!

I don't see a NT/1 Tech like billings going in the top 15. I love this player but I don't see a raw NT going that high. Everyone remembers the Sharrif Floyd/Travis Frederick draft, Floyd was considered a top five talent and was drafted at the 23rd spot of the 1st round. Ngata was completely dominant and didn't go until the 12th pick. Suh was the last guy I can remember going in the top ten but I'm sure I'm forgetting others.

I really see Billings as a guy with top 15 talent who drops because of the position he plays and the fact he is an unfinished product.

Isn't Dontario Poe from KC a 1 technique? Wasn't he the 4th pick?

Nevertheless, it's not common for 1 tech to go super high especially one that's raw. I am hoping we get Billings at 34 but wouldn't hold my breath. He'll put up some crazy numbers at the combine and watch he shoot up the boards.

I can't imagine us being that lucky.

He stands out from everyone else so much.

Andrew Billings | Defensive Tackle
Team: Baylor Bears
Age / DOB: (19) / 3/6/1996
Ht / Wt: 6'1' / 310

College Football 24/7 writer Chase Goodbread believes Baylor DT Andrew Billings may challenge Stephen Paea's combine record of 49 reps on the bench press.
In the weight room, Billings is a freak among freaks. He and Mark Henry are arguably the two strongest high schoolers in American history (back in the day, Henry was called "the world's strongest teenager" by the Los Angeles Times). Rotoworld's Josh Norris ranks Billings as the No. 10 overall draft prospect and sees him being used in the NFL like the Panthers used Star Lotulelei. The 6-foot-1, 310-pounder has also drawn several comparisons to Aaron Donald. Feb 12 - 10:51 PM

like they said on the draft show today, IF we can wind up with either of Jack/Ramsey/Bosa/Treadwell AND Billings? just wow.....

That's an excellent comparison. Poe was a physical freak who was drafted more on his workout numbers than college production, similar to Billings. But it also somewhat backs up my point, Poe was rated in the 5 - 10 range leading up to the draft but was drafted at 11.

I'm not going out on a limb or making any predictions, it "only takes one GM" to fall in love with a player and draft/overdraft the guy. But looking at this draft I really think a 1 Tech with a first round grade will still be on the board when the Cowboys pick at 34.

Billings will probably be the strongest player in the nfl weight lifting wise, but needs to use better technique to be the absolute strongest player. The kid is only 19!

It's possible . I see Lynch falling

If he doesn't make teams fall in love with him, I could see a chance where he falls all the way to the bottom of the first/second. Truthfully, there is only a hand full of teams that have a need for a QB large enough to use a first round pick on one. Most seasons you see a guy slip to the bottom of the first/second..and he could be that guy. I just did a fanspeak mock and actually got him in the second but that's not worth a lot.

Poe is a NT in a 3-4. Much more valuable then a 1 tech in our scheme
