He said when he was in Dallas visiting, he loved Jerry Jones. He said Dallas told him they think he is a mid 2nd round pick. Have him rated high.

That was it. Thought I would share. I thought it was odd that Dallas told him he is a 2nd round pick when all the scouting guides have him as 4 or 5.

He is friends with lousaka polite.

Ourlads lists him as an ascending player with excellent pass block skills and can stand up a bull rush.

He thinks he is going to the chiefs though, because they have had the most contact.

I doubt he ends up as a 2nd rd pick, but I definitely think he could go in the 3rd

Yeah that is what struck me as so odd. How can the scouts differ so much.

I don't think he'll be there with Dallas' pick in the 3rd round. He'll go late 2nd or early 3rd. When you're talking early 3rd, you're only talking 12-15 picks away from Dallas' 53rd pick.

yeah that is probably the way to look at it. He really sounded like a smart tough guy. He is going to be a player for someone.

Alleman has the best measurables of all the OGs except for strength, and his agent seems to think his client will go anywhere from the 2nd to the 4th round, and now w/ Alleman saying that the Cowboys believe he's a mid-2nd round prospect, I can see this dude going in the 2nd round, 3rd at the latest

He needs a lot of polish, but he has the raw talent to be a Pro Bowl type of player. You could do worse than go after a guy the Chiefs like a lot. Peterson has shown he can find offensive linemen.

yeah that is the truth, some teams just have areas they always hit on. The eagles are the same way. They continue to take lineman, they seemingly dont need and develop them then play them.

The chiefs have seen their offensive line disassembled the past two seasons. It will be interesting to see if they have the kind of success again.

He would make a great selection if we can get him at #22 in the third round.

my draft guide has him as a 7th rounder and says he does not project as a starter.

Ugh. Please don't let Alleman get drafted by us, he has an awful block success rate and gave up a lot of sacks and pressures in a weak conference. I have no clue how this guy is such a highly rated prospect.

PFW has him as a late 4th.

lol sorry, here are the stats from last season...

77.4% blocking success, 4 pressures allowed, 4.5 sacks allowed

Compare them to the stats of other guard prospects:
Grubbs: 90.6%, 2 PA, .5 SA
Blalock: 86.5%, 2 PA, 1 SA
Sears: 86.6%, 3 PA, 1 SA
Beekman: 88.5%, 0 PA, 0 SA
Ramirez: 85.3%, 1 PA, 2 SA

Late 4th or a 5th makes a lot more sense than a 2nd.
USA Today lists him as a 2-3 round pick. It all depends on your individual taste in OG's.
