About 3 months ago I got a call to change some locks on a house way out west of Tucson. I like locksmith jobs. Easy work, decent pay because it is a skill not many people know.

So I show up out there with the Property Manager and the Constable to lock this lady out of the house. She's a stripper. I don't tell you that to judge her, it is relevant to part of the story.

She has 2 daughters. The youngest was home and was just a doll. She talked my ears off. Mom gets the things she thinks she needs and leaves. I start changing the locks.

The Property Manager is doing a quick inventory of the house. What is damaged, what she has left behind, etc. I tell him he should make sure all the windows are locked because people will come right back and climb in.

He's looking out the den window as he was locking it and he says, "oh my gosh, she left a dog."

I could not believe this. Chained up outside was this darling little brown dog. The dog was tangled up. I was going to go outside and untangle the dog and I find another dog. This one was a pitbull. I do not know this animal so I was was not going outside.

I called the Constable back and he informs me that the Property Manager either has to get her to come back for the dogs or call animal control himself. If one of the dogs were to die after she turned the house over to us, he is liable.

So he calls his home office to get a number to reach this girl. Turns out his office was trying to reach him. Some guy had called, asked how much she owed and if he could pay it. She owed nearly $4500.00. The guy said, "no problem" and offered to pay all her future rents. $1500.00 per month.

Finally they get hold of her and she comes back for the dogs. Let me tell you this pitbull was beautiful and oh my gosh was she ever a friendly dog. A giant, powerful puppy. If my wife and kids were not scared of dogs I would have offered to take her. I had to take the dog to the car for the lady because she drug her like towing a sleigh. This woman was small and that dog was powerful.

When they told her of his offer, she didn't even know who the guy was. He paid off her debt and she moved right back in later that same day.

She must be one hell of a stripper!

Yesterday I got a call from the Property Manager and he said she had skipped town owing rent and was gone. He needed me to come change the locks again. I was glad to do it. Apparently the guy who bailed her out figured she was now his kept lady and when she decided that she wasn't, he cut off the cash flow.

We got there this morning and the house and garage just reeked. The guys who loaded up her moving truck stole the range and the fridge and threw all the meat from the freezer in the sink. Gag.

So while I was waiting for the Police to show up I started bagging up all the smelly stuff in the house.

In the garage hanging on the wall was a very slinky black dress with a lot of sparkles. A little girl from across the street, about 10 years old wanted that dress and her brother came and asked me what was going to happen to it. I said, "they will probably throw it away." He asked if his sister could have it and I gave it to her. It'll take her a couple of years to fit into it, but she who cares.

These kids were very sweet. They started talking about how they were going to miss the 2 daughters who lived there and how they had moved to Wisconsin. Then they started talking about that pitbull. I told them I had met her and that she was a beautiful dog. The little boy said, "she died last month."

I was immediately sad. That dog was such a sweet dog. I asked how she died and the boy said she was chained up on the side of the house and could not get to her water and she died.

He then said something that turned my blood cold. I debated whether to even share this story or not. I find it hard to believe the woman could drive off without her dogs in the first place. People like that do not deserve animals. Then to leave the dog without water until it dies? Then this boy said, "they threw the dog in the trash and covered her up with the trash for pickup."

Now you know why the thread title is basically a warning about the content. I am glad that woman left this state. I am sorry to anyone who lives in Wisconsin. We sent you a witch.

Not even the decency to bury the dog in her own damn back yard. People like that make me sick. They don't care for man nor beast. I can't understand why people like that even bother having pets if they don't give a lick about them.

The woman probably got them for the kids but then wouldn't let them play with them. I agree some people shouldn't be allowed to have pets or breed. :(

I have a friend who is a codes officer where I used to live. He comes across dead dogs and cats in bags all the time in the ghetto.

Doesnt say much for this woman as a parent if that is how she treats her animals, at some point I am sure she will blow off her kids too.

I never understand people and how they treat their animals or why they have them in the first place?

Ditto this.

I should have stopped reading after Hos said she must have been a great stripper.

Not to make excuses, but isn't difficult to dig in that region. Lots of hard rock, I thought. Still she could have found another proper means of dealing with the dog she killed. Of course her killing the dog shows how little she cares.

Such a sad story. There's not a day that goes by that I don't look at my dog and feel just how lucky I am that he is in my life. Once I move into a bigger place with a decent backyard, I plan on adopting a few more and fostering for a rescue. These innocent animals don't deserve the cruelty and neglect.

Very sad story Hos!

Can you explain this to me? I'm a little confused. I was reading the story and got hanged up on it.

You told the kids that you had met the dog (the day before) and the little boy said that "she died last month"?

Do they mean the mother, perhaps?

Did i miss something?

If the people across the street knew the dog was there, chained and without water, and that the "stripper" had vacated the premises, why didn't they call the proper authorities?

I changed the locks out there about 3 months ago and that is when I met the dog.

She hadn't vacated. Her kids apparently told the kids across the street that the dog had died and why.
