Is there anyone here who knows how to reduce the file size of the animated star at this LINK to a size that will allow me to use it as an avatar?

Thanks in advance for your help. :D

That star only measures 100 by 78 as is. Should not require a shrink.

I put it in my gallery so you can just copy this URL if you want.

PS Starkist, I just tried it myself - it's a 'byte' issue. I don't know if shrinking if down will take care of that, but I will try.

Well, I learned something new (very low tech brain here). Shrinking animated gifs de-animates them.

I am sure there is someone here knows how to do it, Starkist.

If it's a byte issue you can also reduce the number of colors used, I've found that to be an easier solution than shrinking...

You have to shrink each frame of the gifs. If it is treated as a single frame it will act accordingly, i.e. modifying one with MS paint.
