Were REALLY startin' to hack me off... could they possibly have been any more on Adrian Peterson's jock??
How many times did they tell us that Peterson always gets stronger late in the game?? Once, would have been legitimate, since it's backed up by the stats... but over and over and over again, every time the guy did something, we heard that same spiel...
He didn't get stronger in THIS game, did he??
But what annoyed me the most was the announcer who insisted after the first AP fumble that "he was down, see there, his HAND was on the ground"...
Of course, even in college football, you're allowed to put your hand down and still make forward progress... then, he tried "the ground can't cause a fumble"... uhhhh, yes, it can, if you're not DOWN yet...
Aw well, all's well that ends well, and 28-10 is well enough for me... I do find myself a little perplexed at the deification of Colt McCoy after this game, though; he wasn't bad, but he wasn't really good, either... basically, what won this game for the Horns was 5 turnovers by the Sooners...
If Aaron Ross isn't the national defensive player of the week, something's really, really wrong...
