Announcers Comment in NE/ATL game...

So, one of the announcers made the comment that the NE punter and McBriar are the only two punters in the NFL who haven't had a fair catch made on one of their punts. My question to that is, is this a good thing? I know McBriar really booms his kicks and has pinned a few back there but for the most part it seems like the opposing teams have decent field position. I guess what I am asking is was the comment a compliment to McBriar's kicking ability or a diss against our coverage teams that the opposing teams have had plenty of time to field the ball and set up a good return? Thoughts?

It's an anamoly after 4 weeks.

FYI, if it stayed that way all season it would be an indictment of the coverage teams more than anything else.

Is it a reflection of the punter....or the coverage that the kicking team provides?

McBriar is doing an EXCELLENT job so far this season.

As long as he keeps pinning them back, he's doing fine....also remember that alot of teams tell their returner to just let the ball go if they are around the 10 yard line, etc.....McBriar's kicks for the most part have been boucing sideways after they hit the ground, so the returners have been letting the ball go thinking that it would go through the end-zone.
