Im not happy with the play calling on the interception. What was it...2nd and 2 and we throw a "O" pattern pass?

Wasnt the time to get too cute given what was a stake. No chance Elliot and our line wouldn't have picked up 2yds with 3 attempts (this was a 4 down scenario). I'd be ok with taking a shot at the endzone as we'd still likely convert on 3rd or 4th, but why that call? Senseless.

Somewhat agree, but that's still Dak's fault... Rookie mistake there...

Dak probably checked out of a run.

The clear thing to me was that Hyde read it. He knew Dak tendency on that down and distance or in that formation.

We ran a screen like that earlier in the year. Hyde read it beautifully- that is what good coaching does- sadly, we are outcosched in every game that we appear in and therefore at a major disadvantage.

Again, it all starts with the head coach who should be fired already.

Yeah, fire the coach who won 13 games with a rookie QB. That's going to happen.

We all knew the defense was the weakest link, even though they got that interception back. Just fell too far behind early, and needed to be perfect the rest of the way. It was too much to overcome in the end.

That was simply a horrible pass. WR screen and it was yards off the mark. I'd like to see a good film break down on that play.

To me it looks like Hyde jumped it and surprised Dez, beating him, and Beasley froze and didnt come to the ball, so he was 2-3 yards from where he had to be to catch it. Overall I think the pass was significantly off the mark which ultimately let Hyde catch it.

Agree. It was the formation and tendency that have the play away. Outcoached right there

It was essentially wiped out by the Heath int, but yeah I was annoyed with that play selection.

I was annoyed with a lot of the play selection, actually. The idea seemed to be "let's abandon our identity with loads of empty sets".

Two pronged mistake. Dak can't throw it but you can't call that play. And as said in other threads, apparently we telegraphed it and GB knew exactly what was coming. Hyde clearly did. He knew exactly where to go.

For a team that's the best at running the ball, time and time again on short yardage, the offense always wants to gets cute
That drives me insane. I hate when it's 3rd and short and we come out with an empty backfield. You need a few yards, you have the best RB in football, the best line in football. Run it down their throats!
