Nick Eatman said on his podcast that a coach told him this. This was before the Houston game I believe

”A coach told me this the other day, one of the assistants told me: ‘Our guys don’t win. Our receivers do not win. They never win the ball.’ Me versus you. My two hands versus your two hands and I win the ball. They don’t.”

It seems like the only group that isn’t exempt from any criticism on this team is the Wr’s. They get it no vaseline by every group of the media. The cowboys and Jerry’s need to get this under wraps. It’s creates a bad atmosphere for prospective wrs to want to come here especially when you consider the fact that most of our staff are vets. Our top 3 wr’s on the depth chart this week are all undrafted. What did this great franchise of ours expect?

We can now get the same video they use so I'll have to see for myself.

I thought I read somewhere that the receivers have one of the lower drop rates in the league.

Can't win when the pass isn't accurate.

I understand that you want to convey the point that Dak needs to be more accurate. And that’s true. Dak isn’t throwing the ball well enough.

However, the receivers are also garbage. It’s possible for both things to be true.

It’s not just the QB. It’s not just the receivers. It’s both. Which is why the pass game is so terrible.

My point is we have undrafted guys at the top of our depth chart at the wr’s position goin against drafted secondary picks.
Certainly seems to be the case with Austin and Gallup
And the other depth of our wrs is a gadget guy and a rookie.

That’s he point of this thread. I really would like to hear the reporter ask the coaches what we’re the guaged expectations of this wr’s group. It’s not even a wr by committee group. It’s a goodwill group that’s just thrown together. I always had my mind made up when I heard that TWill was goin to be a possible number 1 we. And then that group has to rely on the success of Dak passes.

Dak obviously has some accuracy issues, but I am seeing opposing WR's making tough catches from inaccurate throws all the time on other teams. A lot of Hopkins catches last week were not perfect passes by any means.

It seems our WRs can only catch the perfect pass. The catch radius of our WRs is very very small.

Signing studs like DEONTE THOMPSON, ALLEN HURNS and BRICE BENCHED BUTLER really elevated the talent at WR.
And who could forget the route masta Sanjay Lal.
I mean it's just unfair to Dak to have some much talent out there he just gets overwhelmed.

Exactly. I have yet to see a receiver “make a play” this year.

The next time one of our receivers catches a tough ball with a defender draped on him, Will be the first.

The next time one breaks some tackles and gets some serious YAC will be the first.

Receivers all over the league do those things, every week. Even without a great pass thrown to them. But not here in Dallas.

We've got a back up QB playing starter and a group of scrub receivers. Do you think teams are out there drooling over Cole freakin Beasley, Deonte Thompson, Brice Butler, Tavon Austin, Allen Hurns, and Terrance Williams?

Despite what some of you think, there's nothing special about #11. Then again, some of you thought there'd be a bidding war over Dez Bryant. Seven months later he's still tweeting from his couch. We've got a nothing passing game and seem somewhat surprised it produces nothing.

These WR can't beat man coverage with any consistency, and this QB has trouble with zone. That puts a lot of the onus on pass protection and scheming guys open.

some cartoon character in a big stupid hat told me dak throws up before the game from fear.
