The feds and other countries aren't playing anymore. They are clearly going out and arresting people from living rooms around the world.
I get security updates weekly on these cybercrimes and arrests.
Let them try. I just want them arrested afterwards.

Reality;4044544 said:That was the first thought that crossed my mind .. even in the hacking world, announcing a specific date of attack is the real world equivalent of a bank robber saying, "We're going to rob the First National Bank on November 5th."
Of course this could be a disinformation tactic to divert attention away from their real target. It could also simply be a way to gain them attention without ever doing anything because the media loves doomsday scenarios (Y2K, May 21st earlier this year, 2012, etc.) and now, with a target date in hand, the media will cover the impending doom to the way of life for man people given Facebook's popularity.
You have to believe the media giants are already salivating over the gifted End-of-World story lines they can now work on for the next three months.

And then they could attack college records and screw with kids futures.
Or maybe a hospital and mess up peoples medical records.
And you know what would be really funny? If they hacked the governments sex offenders data base ...... that would be a hoot if all those guys got a clean slate.

Well there is still a paper trail, but yeah I see the potential for damage. Also, the sex offender registry is largely a joke in its present form.zrinkill;4044736 said:Yea ....

CowboyMcCoy;4044888 said:I'm in the same boat..what are they going to do, delete my pictures? I absolutely never put any info in there that would be worth anyone taking, cept for an outdated phone number and a few pictures of me doing things on campus..
What does that give them? Maybe they know where I go to school and have my phone number...Oooooh Noohs.
But yeah, I do see the humor in myself...mostly because people use it to get internet attention...the "look at me crowd".
