Good. I know several people on this board wanted Phillips, but it wasn't a fit here. You knew he wasn't going to sign another 1 year $1 million deal. Hes more of a 3-4 linebacker, and there is a good chance we go DE round 1 of the draft and couldn't guarantee him playing time. Ayers is intriguing depending on the contract he wants.

yup guys, we were soley one player away from the SB. Sadly we just missed out, oh well. Better luck next FA.

Like it or not these guys are stickin to the process. When they find out where the holes are in this crop of new guys they'll have the money to fill it.

The DE I want is in the Draft anyway. I'd have loved to keep Ware, but at about half his price. I'd have been okay with Allen, but not at the price he got.

As much as I didn't want him, and as bad as he is, it's scary to think he's still better than anyone we have..at DE or OLB...

I agree, but Derrick Morgan, Kameron Wimbley, Akeem Ayers might. That's 4 3-4 OLBs if you count Phillips.
