In a draft that is absolutely loaded at DE and CB I'd hate to come out of it without picking 1 player from either group.

Might be. When you pick at the end of each round, the players you’re targeting are also being targeted by the other teams so it’s not realistic to think you can pick them all up in the round you have them slated in.

It’s not my dream draft, except for Washington and Johnson (who I’m nearly certain won’t make it past the 3rd round). A lot of these players visited Dallas and that’s who they tend to draft.

That is exactly right. If the team rates Washington as a second round player, the only way to get him is to take him with their late first rounder.

You could move up from the late second round pick, but that will get expensive very quickly.

It is just something that the teams late in the rounds have to deal with.
