Another Game Lost Due to Special Teams

This is the second game this year where special teams played a big part in the loss. In the second quarter we would have had the ball on the 25-30 yard line of Pittsburgh after a bad punt but we dont clear out and they get the ball back and that leads to a FG for Pittsburgh. Then with 9 minutes left in the game we let Holmes pick up a bouncing ball and act totally suprised when he runs with it down inside the 25 yard line and sets up the game tying TD. We also got nothing on any of our returns. We struggled to get to the 20 yard line on kick offs.

This is what happened in the playoff loss to the Giants when RW McQuarters ran back a punt to set up the winning TD. When will Wade learn that special teams are important? It is likely to cost him his job here as it did in Buffalo.:bang2:

I was pissed at Pacman. He could see the punt was way short and it appeared he just stood there watching it bounce around 15 yds ahead. He may have been yelling to his teammates but he should have been running up near the ball screaming & waving for everyone to watch out for the ball.

Pacman sucked on special teams today. Good on defense though.

Yeah PacMan needs to stick to playing corner where he has been very good.

Bruce Read flat out stinks...and once again Wade does nothing to correct the problem...this is the exact same scenario which played out in Buffalo.
