Another Great Defensive Effort Wasted

Needless to say. But we do have one helluva defense. Maybe next year we can shore up the offensive line and make a push. This team is not quite ready for the big time. Cannot win at home against a good Denver team, cannot win on the road against a good Giants team and Seattle team. The coaches conservatitive game planning does give us the chance to hang around. But our offense just does not have it.

It's been the case for many years now.

Good defense...horrible offense = average team

no sacks until the end.

this levels out the "wins" our defense blew last minute earlier this season though.

No sacks, but they put the pressure on Manning all game. He only completed 12 of 31 for 150 yards and had 2 picks. The defense only gave up 10 points on the road. Can't get much better then that.

the offense just isn't good enough for a variety of reasons. We're an adequate offense at home, but on the road, we've been a complete mess offensively. That's when you found out exactly what you have and dont have. The defense responds under pressure while the offense wilts.

We overhauled the defense last offseason, we need to do the same with the offense this upcoming offseason.

He missed open people cause he was under pressure and the Giants had so much more opportunities cause of our lack of offense effort in the first half. This D is for real.
