Another grindy, character building game

Doesn’t matter what the eagles do the next few games. Dallas has proven they can’t beat good teams in the road. It is what it is.

At the end of the day, this team will always be out-physical-ed by the better teams and therein lies their biggest problem as there are too many individual match-ups being lost resulting in a loss of the LOS.

I don't know what game you're watching but that game was pretty even all the way down to the end if you look at the rushing stats the passing stats both defenses almost everything was almost even they didn't do anything better last night except for have the ball last and be able to get in field goal range and win by two points you're trying to tell me we got out physical last night no that game look tough on both sides that's why I was a lot lower scoring than people were assuming there were some idiots on here saying that Miami was gonna put up 51 points on us a couple people some of the scores were like 3820 they all had us losing big and that's not what happened.. If you add up all the rushing from both our teams it was right around the same average passing game total yardage all that stuff was almost even... If you wanna go back to the Buffalo game maybe yeah they were more physical than us but they were also healthier than us we had a bunch of dudes with the flu who didn't have a lot of energy we got a couple rough calls and we had guys injured going in and injured during the game....

But really I'm not seeing what you're seeing because there are real reasons not excuses to why we lost these last two games and they're very different both games were very different but for sure Miami wasn't more physical than us go back and watch it again but just look at the stats there's nothing that says they were more physical than us...

I mean seriously if you go look at the stat line the team stats the offense the defense the special teams the yards per play the averages time of possession almost all equal that fumble that inability for polar to get in and then that mistake with hunter fumbling that football cost us the game that was gonna be either three points or seven points but instead we turned it over that was the biggest mistake in the game and in the game this close that was why we lost the game...

Like I said I don't know what game you were watching last night but it was not because we were out physical last night both teams played hard it was almost even across the board and that one turnover the only turnover of the game lost the game...

I’m numb, but still very hopeful.

Yesterday didn’t really kill us….we still need help and to win out. Same as if we won yesterday.

If breaks are supposed to even out over time, gotta like our chances to get a few moving ahead, but man at what point are we going to stop shooting our own selves in the foot, and/or finding ways to lose that none of us have seen in many decades?

This team does NOT at all do well when they are favorites, or media darlings…and none of them except Irvin (who doesn’t count) are gonna get behind this team….so just maybe the underdog role works out.

I’m not expecting to get into the SB, but maybe just win a division round game so that narrative can go away like the road playoff thing last year.

The outset is, another game went down to wire. With one of the best in NFL.

They needed to respond, and did. We just didn't get the breaks.

But its ok, two games left. Eagles still have to play out.

I would like to think that a game like this builds character in this team unfortunately it's hard for me to see.

What I seem to notice in these tough games on the road is it a half a dozen guys that aren't focused and don't have attention to detail derail everybody else's best work.
Our quarterback did everything he possibly could he didn't throw an interception he didn't turn the ball over he ran when there was nothing there.
It's always the most basic of tasks that we fail at the fundamentals we can't take the hand off and get into the end zone we jump off sides we grab somebody by the face mask get some unsportsmanlike conduct penalty this lack of focus is what does us in in close games.

I can't tell you how tired I am and frustrated to the point of stopping watching football all together of seeing Micah being held by one or two men and there is no call and Tyler Smith has a guy inside his pads by the jersey for a half a second and there's a call.

Very hard to build character when the officiating is so inconsistent it makes players feel like it's just a hopeless battle having to battle the officials and the other team
