I was totally against drafting him. Thought he was slow, no big play threat, not what we need in the slot. But after watching a few vids and highlight tapes, it really changed my mind on him. I think he could be dominant in the slot. A upgrade over Crayton for sure.

I think he'd be Romos best friend. Runs excellent routes, great on 3rd downs, amazing hands, gets to top speed IMMEDIATELY. He'd be exactly where Romo expects him to be at all times. I think he could turn out to be the best slot receiver in the NFL, notching numerous 1000 Yd seasons. I know, the 4.5-4.6 forty bothers lots of guys, and it bothered me to but I'm really opening up to the idea.

If we could get a 4th or 5th for Crayton, go for it. Plus, he's a great PR, above average KR. And most importantly, HE HOLDS FOR FG'S!!!!!. That should be music to Romos ear.

Every now and then we could fake FG's, he could run with it, or throw it too. Again a lot of people will disagree, but I think he could be dominant from the slot. He only got shut down once this year, against Oklahoma, and apparently even then he had a sprained toe.

That is a huge plus. At what spot is he projected to go in the draft?

The Shipley light bulb finally popped on huh?

He would be a tremendous role player here.

Yeah I don't get where people are getting he's "slow" from... I don't care what he ran in the 40, he got game speed.

Haha, this is probably why it's best not to say you don't like a player based on just their measureables.

so basically you made a judgement based on assumptions, without any knowledge.......and then once you actually got knowledge you changed your stance and realized you were wrong? I know this isn't the political forum, but if only our Congress would do the same....I mean actually educate themselves before voting on bills...

well at least you are now in the know. I for one have great knowledge of Shipley, since I see all but one UT game every season. I never watch the PPV game to start the year.

Shipley is the best WR prospect the Horns have had since Roy Williams. IMO, he is a better prospect than Limas was....and better than Quan, though I am a huge fan of Quan.

I wouldn't mind seeing us use a late round pick (4th or later) on the guy, but imo anything earlier than that would be a mistake.

I know he's a receiver but for some reason he reminds me of Witten.

If you think he's slow then you've never watched him play. I'd go as far as to say he was the Horn's mvp over Colt.

Put me down on the FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DRAFT PLEASE THIS GUY list!!

You changed your mind based on highlight videos?

No kidding.

And I don't get that anyway. He looks slow even in the highlights.

Get that video card checked.
