QB:
Dallas Cowboys: Tony Romo. Is this arguable? Maybe if you're one of those guys that put too much value on the QB in some games, especially at the end of the season and in the Playoffs. Reality says that at those times you need more than just a QB that can carry the team on his shoulders, the Dallas Cowboys as a team haven't been able to, yet.

Philadelphia Eagles: Donovan McNabb. He's been hurt, but he's been productive when healthy and one of the Eagles playmakers, that by itself keeps him above the other guys.

New York Giants: Eli Manning. From his Playoff games, is he deserving of a better position? Not IMO, he played like a better version of Trent Dilfer... If he keeps playing like that, he's going to win a lot of games, but he isn't going to be as productive as the guys above.

Washington Commanders: Jason Campbell. Has potential, from his 2nd game against the Cowboys it looks like he may thrive in Zorn's passing game which is a short to intermedium passing game, that relies on the QB quickness to get himself rid of the ball, to open deep patterns.

RB:
Philadelphia Eagles: Brian Westbrook, Lorenzo Booker, Correll Buckhalter. Westbrook is still the NFC best RB, people's already ranking Peterson ahead of him and they have some beef but Peterson has a long history of injuries and Westbrook's on a team that isn't willing to give him a lot of carries.

New York Giants: Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw, Reuben Droughns, Derrick Ward. They produced last season and that's enough for me to have them here. Jacobs has injury concerns and their ranking depends on him.

Washington Commanders: Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright. Portis is productive and a playmaker when healthy, Betts and Cartwright are a huge dropoff.

Dallas Cowboys: Marion Barber, Felix Jones, Tashard Choice. Is Barber capable of taking starter reps and remain healthy? Jones and Choice have talent and a lot of potential, enough to push the team to the top, but they're rookies and I'm trying to be objective.

TE/FB:
Dallas Cowboys: Jason Witten, Martellus Bennett, Tony Curtis, Deon Anderson. Witten is the NFC best TE and the best complete TE in the League, Bennett has potential, Curtis and Anderson are role players.

Washington Commanders: Chris Cooley, Mike Sellers, Fred Davis. Cooley's a great TE, he and Witten should form the NFC TE tandem for a long time. Sellers' a though blocker and Davis' a rookie with potential.

New York Giants: Jeremy Shockey, Kevin Boss, Madison Hedgecock. Shockey hasn't played a full season to this day, that's telling. And is an unhappy Giant. Boss and Hedgecock may be able to take more playing time away from him.

Philadelphia Eagles: L.J. Smith, Matt Schobel, Brent Celek, Jason Davis. Smith's capable of being a pretty good TE but he also has a long history of injuries. Schobel, Celek and Davis are role players.

WRs:
Dallas Cowboys: Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, Terry Glenn(?). Last season our team had the 4th best passing attack in the League, they have the same players at WR, at QB and along the OLine, so, I don't think that much will change. And there's the chance that Glenn will be capable of playing.

New York Giants: Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, Steve Smith, Mario Manningham. Burress and his 3 year average of 1100 yards is enough to rank them next to the top, Manningham has good number 2 potential, Toomer's still productive and Smith started to make plays by the end of the season.

Washington Commanders: Santana Moss, Antwan Randle El, Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly. Moss and ARE were productive last season but they sorely lacked sice at the position, Thomas and Kelly bring size and a lot of potential, but they're rookies and WRs (the biggest bust potential on every position in the Draft).

Philadelphia Eagles: Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown, Jason Avant, DeSean Jackson. I'm not including among the WRs the totals of Westbrook, numbers that made this unit a pretty good one with Curtis surpassing the 1000 yards.

OLine:
New York Giants: David Diehl, Rich Seubert, Shaun O'Hara, Chris Snee, Kareem McKenzie, etc. They aren't in here because they are great in pass protection, in that area they're a bit better than average, IMO, but they're awesome when it's about run blocking, they're dominant and they were perfect for what the Offense did in the Playoffs in the passing game, stuff that they plan on keep using.

Dallas Cowboys: Flozell Adams, Kyle Kosier, Andre Gurode, Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo, etc. They were very good in pass protection and good in run blocking, they have potential to be even better because as they dominated at times but consistency has been a problem for many on this Line.

Washington Commanders: Chris Samuels, Pete Kendall, Casey Rabach, Randy Thomas, Jon Jansen, etc. Last season Thomas and Jansen went down with serious injuries and that limited what they could do, they were bellow average and above average in run blocking and pass protection. If healthy they're capable of being though.

Philadelphia Eagles: William Thomas, Todd Herremans, Jamaal Jackson, Shawn Andrews, Jon Runyan, etc. Andrews is one of the League best Guards, Jackson's an up and coming Center, Herremans' average at best, Thomas and Runyan are on their last legs and it shows. Last season they had all kind of problems by allowing 49 sacks and while Westbrook mantained a great average per carry that's more on his hability than on the blocking.

I think Eli Manning has passed Donovan McNabb at this point. McNabb is still effective, but he gets injured too often and doesn't play well in big games.

The Giants may lose Bradshaw for a while. Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts are both better than Brandon Jacobs, so Portis' injury concerns aren't huge. Jacobs is also an injury risk. I would put the Redstinks running backs above the Giants for now. If Felix Jones proves to be good, the Cowboys could leapfrog both the Commanders and Giants.

I would put the Cowboys line #1. The Cowboys certainly pass block much better than the Giants, Commanders, and Eagles. The Giants run block well, but didn't always pass block well last season.

I think McNabb is too streaky and really too self absorbed in his own self pity to ever have anything but limited success... Does he have talent? TONS of it... but it takes the right mind set to take your talent to the next level... I can list off at least 15 quarter backs in the league right now I'd take over him.

I like Campbell's athleticism, but everyone knows that athletic quarterbacks who rely on scrambling first and throwing second won't ever win in the big dance.

I love Portis. I actually have met him (through a family member of his I was friends with), and he is one heck of a fun guy... he really loves the game and he's an all around fun & comptitive player to watch.

I think hands down he is the best TE in the league, and just about every GM would take him over anyone else (he's in his prime afterall).

Washington Commanders: Chris Cooley, Mike Sellers, Fred Davis. Cooley's a great TE, he and Witten should form the NFC TE tandem for a long time. Sellers' a though blocker and Davis' a rookie with potential.

Shockey is a joke and a waste of talent... he's another self-absorbed baby that I would never have on my team.

Geez, I hope to God they find a way to keep Glenn playing for us, and of course if they manage to do that and not cut him, I hope he can stay healthy and return to his '06 form.
