Another opportunity to control our destiny

Washington and more importantly Phili lose. We play NYG. At home, tough 3 game road trip coming up. Divisional game for first place in our division.

We can erase the blown opportunities in Jacksonville and Phili where we deservedly had the chance to win both games, but shot ourselves in the foot.

Coaching staff needs to step up and design a game plan that gives us some advantages and minimizes our weaknesses. Quick throws to Crayton, TO, Witten on slants and over middle where they can use their size. Use shotgun if our Oline is having trouble picking up blitz. I think Shotgun helps our RB's pick up the free man coming towards Bledsoe, since Bledsoe doesn't even move within pocket all that well and our RB's often have to dodge him to try to get in position to block.

It's time for this team to start controlling it's destiny. It has the horses now, no more excuses. .500 won't cut it anymore under Bill. Can't afford to lose at home against a divisional opponent. We already have one div lose against Phili, and I think we need to win 4 of 6 minimum within Division to win it.

Forget the "it's early in the season crap" we need to win this game and get some swagger/momentum going. We haven't beaten a playoff team yet from the looks of things, and the Giants are pretty solid.

"Another opportunity" is the key phrase here. I am tired of us not getting over the hump. Every time we're in a "big game" we lose and it's oh well they're not there yet. Well, it's time to get there, Cowboys. You're right, Larry, if seeing what unfolded yesterday and being at home on the national stage does not inspire them to take it to the next level, nothing will.

If this team believes they are a contender and have any ideas of making a deep run in the post-season, then they need to win this game tonight. Plain and simple.

if we are to have any type of postseason success these are the types of games we must win. we've allready given two games away where we could have won and didn't pull it out. we need to put a string of wins together and it must start tonight.
