another penalty question

on the drive where Grant scored his 2nd TD.....

Rodgers passed it to some guy coming out of the backfield, who caught it and got tackled just short of the 1st down at the 1 yd line.

On that pass, the back completely blew up Keith Davis, I believe it was.....threw him halfway across the end zone, then ran out to the flat, caught the pass and almost scored.

How come that wasn't a penalty? Was it because it was within the 5 yd chuck zone? He literally threw the defender out of the way and then caught the pass......if that isn't offensive PI, I don't know what is.

I saw that too. In my book that's offensive PI. They should have been backed up 10 yards.

I see what you're saying. Since the ball was not in the air at that point no PI, since it was within 5 yards. Makes sense, guess.

Don't have the video in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure he was past the 5yd buffer,,, should have been called

It was 2nd and 2 from the Dallas 3 and the contact occurred on the goal line.

Ah so refreshing, another thread complaining about the officiating...

the officiating was good last night, its never going to be perfect the refs are human too...get over it and quit complaining over everysingle little call or no call!
