Twitter: Another QB Stat

I am waiting for the the highest completion percentage when a Qb has 2.71 seconds to pass and his receiver wearing blue 6" long boxer briefs have positive route running metric on the 4th sunday before and after the fall equinox....

When Timo Riske, "Mathematician, American football enthusiast & friend of the forward pass" speaks people listen. lol

Looks good on paper but means nothing.

I’ll put money on that….that team is stacked.

The division is stacked there are good odds they dont come out of the division....thats how tough it is. KC-Mahomes, Denver-Wilson, Raiders-Carr (laugh but they beat them out last year) thats pretty hefty lineup.

Mack Bosa and that secondary. They are all in for a rude awakening.

What is a positive route running grade? Means the PFF guy saw he was running the route right, or just that he gained yards?

I'm not surprised to see Dak do well on any stat avoiding the sack. Plays conservative, doesn't force much or allow gimme turnovers, can scramble, and one of the more built QBs. It's what made him a great rookie QB.
He's also big and strong and that makes him harder to sack. You ask a good question. What is a positive route running grade? But one part of Dak's game that I feel is top notch is not taking a sack. He's as good as anyone in that department.

Oddly, Goff actually did have an overpriced, fading RB next to him for a while. The difference is that McVay quickly realized his mistake and got rid of Gurley and that contract quickly.

As with Jerry, he takes much more time to admit and fix his mistakes. Instead the Rams have rebuilt and won a championship while Jerry is demanding they feature Zeke and wasting time.
Imagine what life would be like if we had a front office that realized their mistakes and fixed them.

What's more laughable?.......... All the stupid things that he says or you actually giving him the time of day when he says it? Talk about a moth to the flame?

Just put the fool on ignore and you will never have to deal with that drivel again. If he actually made a credible point once in a while, it might be manageable. But he never does.
I get your point, but it’s a long-standing and valued tradition to call out stupid comments and behavior.

Give @darthseinfeld credit. He kicked his *** out of this thread with a simple statement of truth. You know @MountaineerCowboy was dying to make a rebuttal comment, but couldn’t. He was put in his place and knew it. That’s growth on his part.

Goff would have been all Pro with Zeke next to him....lol!

Yeah, so all-pro, that he had a better team and better coaching in LA and got sent elsewhere. With that said, Dak would have taken the Rams to the superbowl just like Stafford.... something Goff wasn't capable of doing. See how that works??

Actually,

Goff did led the Rams to the Super Bowl. They didn't win the Super Bowl, but they went.

This stat is about the OL as much as the QB. Dak has had some outstanding OLs. He also has had the benefit of playing in a punchless division. His stats outside the NFC EAST are mediocre.

KC not even close, Denver doesn’t have the players chargers do, and raiders no way…….
QB big check
RB nice combo
Wr tight end nice weapons
Oline is stacked
Dline stacked bosa and Mack is a scary combo
Secondary is stacked
Nice linebackers too
Team is stacked!
they are a very good team on paper but most coordinators know how to expoit them. Keep the offense on the sidelines and exploit that 30 ranked run defense. If that dont improve then san diego may very well be watching other teams in the playoffs. How do you think we beat them in their house?

Is this really indicative of any of their ability to QB though? The whole stat is predicated on the QB standing around with the ball for 2.5+ seconds. So other factors come in other than their decision making or their reading of the defenses:

QBs who are statues and/or have poor pass blocking Olines are at the top, QBs with wheels and/or strong pass blocking Olines are at the bottom.

I know how it works.....apparently, some people can't take a joke!
