and this is the great fault with thinking analytics is everythingHold on, it's possible though. Dak nearly threw a few picks and Brisset could have had INTs that hit the receivers in the hands and bounced into the defeneder's. Unlike fans who feel good, PFF tries to take an analytical approach. And sometimes the result obscures the performance. I actually think Dak played better vs the Ravens as far as throwing the ball...so it's possible for a guy to have a not-so-great stat sheet but grade high on PFF.
So you are new to pff grades?I'm a Dak critic, but this is ridiculous. Dak is clearly playing better via the eye test.
Brisett had 1 tipped pass that was picked, one where he was hit just as he was throwing into single coverage with a safety coming over, and the last play of the game where he threw it right to the defender who returned it for a score.Hold on, it's possible though. The same problem exists in the pre-draft combine. Many front offices think abstract "measurables" are an accurate predictor of NFL success, while often ignoring the guys with all the un-measurable intangibles who just win.and this is the great fault with thinking analytics is everything
reality is that in those two games dak played better in every way that matters in the ACTUAL GAME.
