Well, they have Howie Roseman who is the best GM in the NFL. While we are handicapped in the front office. So, it’s a miracle we are even able to compete with them.

He is not the guy who accesses talent for the Eagles. He has never played or coached football at any level. He handles the financial aspect of building a roster. Perhaps he’s good at that. The Eagles primary strength is Stoutand/Fred Johnson/Opeta/Steen/Driscoll/Stoll. Lots of teams have aggressive defensive lines. The Eagles are not special in that regard. No team can rotate in the kind of O-Line talent the Eagles do to keep an already above average O-Line fresh.

That is bunk. Howie is the brains behind their personnel moves. Go read.

yeah because we're the first team in history to lose to a bad team that's how the any given Sunday Monica came from and maybe it has something to do with missing three offensive lineman and our Pro Bowl cornerback playing on the road and probably underestimated this Arizona team a little bit that's what happens but it's not the first it won't be the last NFL team you know the Buffalo Bills lost to the New York Jets game one you don't even have to look back very far I mean are you delusional it's not about the truth this is about 17 games and how the season ends not game three we lost to a bad team on the road missing 4 Pro Bowl players that's a fact you can't handle the truth that you like to overreact but not realize that the long season and we started out the seasons before 3:00 and 5:00 ended up 10 and six we started out seasons losing game one and a really bad fashion like last year lost Prescott still got on track and won 12 games that is how it works we look at this at the end of the season and you wanna sit here and make dumb comparisons and tell us to live with it yeah for what 6 days and then boom another week another game that's all it was one loss one game over a 17 game season so the trolls come out and we gotta have put the hammer back on the nail so we get your heads back down where they need to be that's what we're telling you.

You want to know if the Eagles are better than the Cowboys we'll see we got two games ahead the work that out last year we split the games it would be really nice if we had jalen hurts against Prescott both games so there will be no more talk..
Does anyone else hear Warren Zevon’s Excitable Boy, when reading his threads or is it just me?

Yes, he works on acquiring players the coaching staff and scouts indicate they want, either by individual or position. He does not decide what players should be acquired. How would he know? Now his job will include saying “I’m sorry, we cannot afford that guy” because like other teams he’s had to pay the going rate for a top quarterback. And if Hurts does not pan out as a top quarterback, which at this point he isn’t, Roseman will still have his job and the guys who insisted Jalen Hurts is the one will no longer be with the organization.

not that we didn’t already know, but eagles going on the road and dominating against an inferior opponent..
They consistently win even when hurts throws multiple picks and has bad games.

running game and D typically always show up.

How come Philly does not have to stink and lose for them to be able to “learn” and we do?
i would love to see philly lose 4 pro bowlers and 3 pro bowl lineman in one week and see how they do.

they rarely seem to have big injuries.

1. Howie Is 100% involved in talent evaluation. They have scouts that provide the recommendations and Howie and the coaching staff set the board. Pretty much how every team operates.
2. You say that a lot of teams have aggressive d-lines. Aggression has nothing to do with it, it!s talent. They have one of, if not the most, talented d-line in the NFL.
3. The last statement about keeping o-lineman fresh by rotating them literally makes zero sense. D-line rotates, o-line does not.

We haven’t done anything since the 90’s, I don’t need to be reminded in advance. I just think this community gets their chin’s rattled too hard after a loss. I honestly do believe this team is Super Bowl worthy even after the cardinals loss. The cards upset us bad, and the news about diggs hurts too, and then that’s when everyone buried their head in the sand. You can see the team does the same thing. With that said, they make or break their own chances, just like the cardinals game with the penalties.

Philly lost 3 pro bowlers in 2017, Jason peters, darren sproles, and carson wentz.

Lost their best linebacker jordan hicks, special teams ace chris maragos, and kicker caleb sturgis.

They won the superbowl. Hope that gives you some idea how they do.

Dallas is better coached. We might even have equal or better physical talent. But they are more focused right nw. We get enamored with the shiny objects

1. No NFL team leaves talent evaluation to someone who has never been involved with football personnel on the playing field level.
2. Every NFL team has talent on their defensive line. Aggression has everything to do it. I watched the Bengals game. The were aggressive.
3. Philadelphia uses their reserve offensive lineman and that back up tight end, who can only block, liberally. Their center and right tackle are not youngsters.

It’s time to stop with the Roseman is some kind of wizard nonsense. If the Eagles have an advantage over the Cowboys at GM it’s that Roseman is smart enough to know he can be fired.

Eagles are better because they have a better QB and are better in the trenches on both sides of the ball
You had me at "a better QB"
Aside from the QB our lads, given the leadership, can go toe to toe with any NFL team.
