Another season, and Eagles are clearly the better team

This is a clear example of the Eagle's FO knowing what it's doing.

They aren't losing games they should win. They aren't load managing players 3 games into the season. They manage to have two 1st round picks in the first round the year after a superbowl appearance and manage to snag one of the best players in the draft. Meanwhile, NONE of our draft players made any sort of splash plays last game. Our FO does absolutely nothing and we just 'roll with our guys' despite massive holes in the O-line that anyone could see before the season started. We have an organization that builds a team 'good enough' to keep the circus going and give you hope before it gets dashed in the 2nd round again. We'll beat up on powder puff teams and even dominate them but the moment we run into a physical team you can almost pencil it in as a loss. Can't wait until 3 years later so we can actually see our rookies contribute.

And how did he play in the Super Bowl?

If the roles were reverse, the homers would 100% laugh at Dak’s playoff resume
I said Hurts turned in arguably a top-10 all-time playoff performance in the super bowl.

What I'm pointing out is that it happened in a loss. So the W-L as a judge is misleading.

not that we didn’t already know, but eagles going on the road and dominating against an inferior opponent..
The Bucs weren’t nearly as inferior as the opponent we just got whipped by. If the Cowboys are unable to bounce back with some impressive performances the next few weeks, they may be looking at the same type of beating from Philly Tampa just took.

Real talk. Can someone explain HOW Hurts is a better QB? They run a completely different schemes that REQUIRES the qb to be a running threat. Dak can run, but he is the definition of a pocket passer. Everything in that offense is based off of RPO option. Do you think I’d Hurts HAD to pass he would be as effective?

So let's compare QBs:

Turnovers Dak 1, Hurts 4 (1 fumble lost)
TDs Dak 3, Hurts 6 (3 rushing)
Comp % Dak 67.6, Hurts 67.7
Yds/att Dak 6.3, Hurts 6.9
QBR Dak 65, Hurts 44.2
Qb rating Dak 90.6 Hurts 84.5
Total yds Dak 647, Hurts 640

Looks to me for the 1st 3 games of this season Hurts being the better QB is a false narrative.
It’s not about which QB is more skilled. It’s not like either one of them is a top five QB in the league. But there are 52 guys every week that absolutely believe in Hurts. Not one of them seem to think they give the Eagles a better chance of winning the game than he does. That kind of camaraderie can make up for a lot of shortcomings on a team. Of course, a great center and two great tackles can make up for Hurts’ shortcomings. He isn’t a better NFL QB than Dak. The issue, even after just 3 games, is if it even matters.

cool, this season all of these qbs are better than Dak:

Tua
Mahomes
Cousins
Stroud
Goff
Wilson
Dobbs
Love
Minshew
Jackson
Mayfield
Purdy
Herbert
Smith
Maybe so, but that still doesn't validate your original comment...it just moved the goal post.

Correct what it shows is that he's on a better team with the one of the best offensive lines in football and all his horses.. I mean people want to keep editing out we're not supposed to make excuses but there are reasons we went on the road on grass missing four pro bowlers three along the offensive line I've seen jalen hurts have a bad game whenever lane Johnson is out we're basically missing 3 1/2 players with Tyler Smith coming off a tender hammy... They say Prescott just needs a lot more talent around him so does jalen hurts he looked like Justin fields his first two years until they loaded his team up and right now his offensive line and his run game are in stride elite..

He's not a better quarterback he's got a better team playing better right now at least for one week let's get over everything right now...

Better coaching and GM.
It's as simple as this...and that likely results in better players, over time.

And let's not sugarcoat this, the Cowboys have to overachieve based on their talent to beat these better NFC Teams. We need a better game plan than the opponent, and it must be executed well. Do we trust McCarthy to outscheme a lot of other coaches? Do we trust Dak to outplay a bunch of other QBs? So, if not, then all the other players have to significantly outplay their counterparts.

Don't get me wrong, the Cowboys have "good" talent, and great coaching will take them over the top. Do we have that? Did Quinn and this defense just get exploited by a rookie backup QB? Hec, who can the fans trust week in and week out, to outscheme the opponent?

Now a grass field is an excuse?

His first full year as a starter (‘21” they went to the playoffs. He was limited as a passer that year.
Second year as a starter they went to the SB and Hurts was an MVP candidate. He led the league in passer rating from the pocket and was one of the better at deep balls.

You may well be right, but you're just wildly guessing. Let's reevaluate after we play them a time or 2.. or 3.
