Ken Whisenhunt and the Cardinals brought QB Brian St. Pierre into camp to compete with Leinart for the No. 2 spot behind Kurt Warner.
St. Pierre was drafted by the Steelers in 2003 in the 6th round, is 29 years old, and has thrown only one pass in six years.
Reports are credible that the threat to Leinart's No. 2 spot is serious.
This is amazing, given that a year ago at this time, Leinart was the starter going into training camp. They say that his footwork is terrible and that he has a serious mental-toughness problem. He practice "MMA" style during this off-season, but all that's drawing is laughter and mocking from his peers.
I think that this guy is turning out to be more Ryan Leaf than not.
