Another Terrible game by the Refs

Murray was robbed a long TD. They would have also robbed Dez a TD if it weren't for reviews after each TD. The refs are right there to make the right calls but they don't do it.

Last week Carr was called for PI which should have gone against the offense. The refs robbed us of a shut out.

Too many ticky tack fouls that don't get called on us but are called sometimes when we make a big play.

I don't think there is a conspiracy. But I believe there is some kind of bias going on with these refs not giving us a fair shake when we play this year. I wish we could file a complaint about this and we should.

How many times this year has a quick whistle killed us and we have been robbed of plays like the one with Murray yesterday. They should let the play run and then look it over, I am sick of this.

Someone posted that one of the refs in that crew is based in that area and is probably a Commanders homer.

This thread is a joke. While the game was remotely in doubt the Cowboys were getting nearly every call. At one point the Commanders had 50 yards penalties to the Cowboys 10. When it ended the Skins had 101 yards of penalties...twice that of the Cowboys.

If you want to point to bias...If anything...the Boys are getting a little extra help this season.

I don't think there's any bias. Incompetence? Yes. (and not just against the Cowboys)

If its incompetence than the Cowboys needs to speak up about it. If the refs can't look at a play and know for sure if its a foul or not, then they have no business being a ref. This is a billion dollar industry in which one bad call can cost a team multi-millions of dollars. Just look at what the Tuck rule did for Oakland and look at what it did for Brady.

I'm certainly not disagreeing with you. Teams send the league office calls that are wrong every week. I know what you mean about officials looking right at the play and then making the wrong call (Dez's toe-tapping TD comes immediately to mind). Extremely quick whistles seem to be an epidemic going around this year, too. To me, the officiating has been as bad this year as any that I can recall. As I said before, I just don't think there's any bias or favoritism involved.

The refereeing seems inconsistent across the league. While it does seem we have more than our fair share of poor calls against us I see them every weekend.

Every team from the entire league could go through every game and say how they got hosed by the refs.

Let's be honest. This is probably one of the first years i've saw where we got a lot of respect from the refs. Especially our offensive line. They let them get away with a lot of holding. Granted, most teams do in this league but I can't sit here and complain about the refs.

My only problem with them is that there was ATLEAST 3 times this year where they stopped a TD because they thought a guy was down or didn't make a catch. All I ask is don't whistle a play dead if there's questions it might not be dead.

During the strike I really didn't believe the replacements were that much worse; more game experience and they could have been on par with these guys. I remember everyone clapping for them when they came back... That didn't last long as everyone was soon reminded how bad the regular crews were also.

I have not heard tackle by the helmet until yesterday when one of the Cowboy players made the tackle by the goal line and the players helmet came off resulting in the stoppage of the play.

It reminded me of The Blindside with the excessive blocking call lol.

I just wish this place would be a little more classy when the Cowboys beats the drizzling snot out of the other team, that a thread like this wouldn't find its way on the board.

They happen to both teams, and if you were to visit extreme skins, I bet they have the same beef.

But that is my feeling. Carry on.

I agree, I saw Dallas get away with a big time hold, Parnell had his man in a head lock and no flag was thrown. I was expecting the flag to fly but never came out. I honestly do not think the refs care who wins these games. They do their best to look for a variety of calls, the competition committee puts in place every single year.

I think the 2 games we had the worst reffing we had our biggest wins. I think it just makes the team angry.
