Even though I am 100 percent happy that Eli is not our quarterback, I do think he receives a lot of unnecessary criticism. Playing in New York is going to be the death of him. If he played anywhere else, the criticism would not be as harsh and as bountiful.

The Giants were an absolute trainwreck last year. Coughlin losing complete control and respect from his players, Strahan being a whiny baby to the media, Burress, Shockey...

And then the topper of it all: Being the lil' bro of Peyton.

Anyone else would probably suck if they had all that drama around them as well.

I don't care, nor do i feel bad for him. He has 1/100th of his brothers charisma, they interviewed him before the superbowl, and for a pro football player he looked weak, and insecure.

I don't really feel bad for him. I don't feel bad for Giants, Commanders, or Eagles, but I do feel as if he is insecure and playing in NY with their media has something to do with it.

He'll never be able to do anything right in their eyes, kind of like Rex in Chicago.
