We were able to stop the run tonight forced a few 3 and outs.

Secondary looks horrible still. But still a ton of injuries in secondary. Team doesn't have the personnel to run what CP wants to run.

The Offene though.

People will blame Dak, and he played poorly. I do think that shot to rubs effected him.

The problem though is coaching and play design.

We compress the field. Large % of runs (not that we even try to run) are between the tackles. We dont attack the edges and force defenses to spread out. Its all right in middle of field

Not surprised. Schotty was another horrible "comfort" hire by Jerry. Nothing ever changes.

At this point im okay with giving them a pass this season and I think Pettine over year will help and they will improve.

Offensively though Ive seen enough to know Shotty is not it.

The Rams are 2-4 . So are the Eagles Colts Saints Cardinals Texans . The NFCE way too mediocre to throw in the towel . Next week the Giants go to Houston I expect them to lose so Mon night you’re at Philly . If you come out of that game with a W your Half game out of first .

We went cheap in FA, we signed Thompson to a 3 year contract and everyone else were 1 year contracts at 5.5 or less. That's not improving.

We brought in 15 new players FA/draft and only 2 are doing anything at all. Downs and Barnham

I think we need let him go now, and evaluate Adams as a HC for the rest of the season. If Adams can get some momentum, give him the job. If not, hire a guy of Tomlins stature

Defense did show more life today than they have all season.

The division is awful, but I dont even think we have a shot at an awful division with Schottenheimer. He has regressed as a coach, and he wasnt even good last year. The team has more talent now, and they have a legit LT. But somehow they are worse

Jerry has lost this team. Schotty is just the future fall guy, a bit player, a hapless head coach in name only. No, I’m afraid the team has quit on the only guy with any real power, Jerry the terrible.

I said in another thread that the lack of speed at TE and RB will always be susceptible to the kind of defensive schemes we've faced lately. The days of Erik Williams, Larry Allen and Nate Newton etc...would have made these defenses cry uncle and then the passing game would open up very easily.

Man... I don't GAS about any other team or what their record is. This is the team I'm obsessed with and it sucks — it feels it will always suck — and I feel like a sucker for GAS.

This franchise once stood for something. Landry and the FO spent the first 30 years making this franchise what we're hanging on to today.

Jerry and his crew have done everything to keep us in the basement the last 30 years. I never thought I'd see the day that my Cowboys would be the laughing stock of the NFL.
