Was that the game from last year. Oklahoma won that game, and it wasn't even close.

My bad....I was confused and thinking that was the one loss, but that was Texas.

He did have a 66 yard TD though. :)

The scary answer is: Most of them. Why? Because Jerra will want it known that most of his picks (or by proxy) stuck and will be productive. And then we can all call him a "football guy."

THAT is the other scary thing about Jerra. He wants "his" picks to succeed no matter how it affects the team.

I really think you are selling Jerry short if you think he is worried about NOT being called a football guy. He has nothing to prove to anyone at this point. His scouting department was very happy about the draft outcome. What does that tell you.

This was a draft addressing overall defensive depth and bolstering special teams. The lack of quality depth and limited special teams talent have undermined us for several seasons.

To me it is so much sweeter to have draft selections emerge as stars or quickly flourish in the NFL then to have some hyped costly selections struggle. No doubt there were some obvious quality college players to be had but our draft position negated acquiring them.

I still believe our Oline needs shoring up and a quality starter if not two, but you can't get everything even if you are well positioned in the draft.
