I know he is hurt right now, and I know that he has had injury problems this year, and pretty much his entire career, but...

He is the receiver we need/wanted not Roy Williams.

The only thing preventing Tony Romo from having a Drew Brees like season is the consistency of his receivers.

Colston caught 68 percent of the balls Brees threw to him, where as Williams has caught 45 percent.

We need to help Romo out by giving him a possession receiver opposite of Miles Austin.

I like Crayton in the slot, but I still think we need a legit 2.

Maybe we already have a guy like that in Ogletree.

I wouldn't mind drafting a WR in the mid-rounds to develop.

Weird timing on this thread. Let's all put the Video Game GM control sticks down and cheer on ALL the current Dallas Cowboys, including Roy Williams, this week as they attempt to exorcise the decade-long demon named The Philadelphia Eagles.

Anquan gives me a bad feeling. We'll also have plenty of money invested at wide reciever after we re-sign Austin.

I have not given up hope on RW. I think the last thing Romo needs is a primadona WR. If RW can get out of that mindset and just play football he will be fine. If not I have confidence that Ogletree will fit the bill. At some point Hurd has to be replaced but you have to find a ST player to replace him.

I would not mind seeing a draft choice later on, but I don't think that is a need in the next couple of years.

I wasnt saying lets go get Boldin, simply he obviously would have been a better choice, and thats not just revisionist history either.

I'm saying in the future we need to get someone who can help our offense be consistent. We'll score a lot more points like that.

Austin replaced T.O.s production, so why are Romo's touchdowns down?

Because we aren't consistent on 3rd down and in the redzone.

Austin is our Colston, not Roy. I love Roy but even I'll admit that one.

Our wide receivers are fine but by all means let's go mess with something that's not broken.

Anquan is a slower Golden Tate.

Built like a RB, thick legs and average speed. He is almost 29 or is, had 4.6 speed, and will be overpaid for.

Might has well keep Pat Crayton and draft a playmaker like Dez.

Well you left off the fact that Boldin is kind of a turd too, but whatever.

Probably 75% of the people in this forum were all gung ho over getting RW. Now many of them have thrown him under the bus and acted like they always knew it was a bad move.

Honestly I would have liked Bolden over Roy Williams at the time and still like Bolden better however with the Roy Williams trade done and the fact I really like Kevin Ogletree to eventually start rather than Roy (maybe next season) I truly like what the Boyz have in Miles Austin, Kevin Ogltree, Crayton and for the time being Roy Williams.

Honestly, Bolden has become increasingly beat-up over the past couple of years, seamingly always injured in one way or another. I wonder if he is career is on the downslide. I remember Sterling Sharpe (the guys I think Bolden most reminds me of) being the same way near the end, WRs who run after the catch like running backs will last only so long in this league.

We need to draft another slot WR even though I think Olgetree will fill that bill well. And I have no problems drafting another possession WR to compete with RW and Hurd. That, a couple of OL, and a MLB or S would suit me just fine.
