Anthony Armstrong

I don't know how the overall numbers look but right now I think it would be tough to cut Anthony Armstrong.

If he can play Special Teams well then he is worth having. He looks like a complete player to me.



I know that keeping 4 RB's and 4 or 5 TE's may screw this up though.

he has played well and does play on st's . be tough to cut him but some wr who can play will get cut this year. just too many guys which is a good thing

I can see him making the team if they only keep three TEs. It's possible.

I think he gets waived and brought back if an injury happens.

No matter how it goes, there'll be some tough cuts at WR this year. It'd be great if we could keep 'em all but some of them will have to go. It'll be especially tough if it's Armstrong since he's the fastest of our wideouts, as well as one who is adept on special teams. Will his age be a deciding factor? Guess we'll have to wait to see.

I can see him making the team if they only keep three TEs. It's possible.

I would be floored if they only kept 3 TE's. I think the best shot for a 6th WR is only keeping 3 RB's which I don't see happening either.

i dont think its possible to keep 6 receivers while keeping 4 RBs and 4 TEs like you already stated. It really says a lot about our receiving core that a guy like Armstrong can't make the roster as 1 of our top 5. The future looks bright for this unit as well, Miles Austin is the only guy of the bunch over the age of 25

I sure would hate to see Armstrong or Jared Green an Eagle. Same with Danny Coale. If all three were to be cut, it would not surprise me to see two of the three signed by the Eagles. My guess is that almost every WR cut by Dallas will sign somewhere else. Maybe the Cowboys could trade a few of them for a 7th rd pick. That would be nice.

How bout a 32 ft Trailer at Blue Water? That's the best I can do.


I don't really have anything against Beasley, I'm just thinking of that old saying, "Can't make the team from the Trainers Table.

With Killer, I actually like him but I think we will sign Waters and if that happens, then it's probably between Arkin, Costa and Killer. I think they like Arkin and see a future with him. I think Costa can backup Center and play some Guard and I think Killer is injured, possibly for the rest of training camp. I think he's the odd man out on that deal.

How can they keep more than 10? Nine would be better, but I don't know which nine?

I also don't see 4 at running back. It has been, 3RB, 1FB, 3TE. I think the FB slot goes to the extra TE. I like Tanner, but I don't see any way they keep both he and Randle. I know Tanner plays special teams, but so does Armstrong. And, I think a 6th WR who can stretch the field, is more likely to get some playing time than the 4th RB. Of course, with all of our guesses this early, there are still 3 pre-season games to play, and a season ending injury to any of them changes everything.
