Depends if Claiborne is back to being Claiborne. Brown is playing better than Scandrick. So why would he be demoted over Scandrick? Since Brown can play both the outside and in the slot. Scandrick is only useful in the slot.
Unless Scandrick is playing bad, which he isn't, he's not getting benched for Briwn. If anything they'll rotate.

As I said it depends on Claiborne. Carr, ABrown, Claiborne, Scandrick. Brown has better speed and is more versatile than Scandrick. Only way Brown is demoted is if he hit a big time rookie wall.

I would certainly agree that Claiborne might be the so-called "secret sauce" to elevate our secondary to greater levels in the playoffs.

If he's able to return to anything resembling the previous levels of excellence that he reached before his groin injury, we'll be blessed.

He's been great. Outside of that bomb to Desean on Thanksgiving where he appeared to just fall asleep, he really hasn't looked out of place at all. Pretty remarkable for a rookie CB picked in the 6th round playing a ton of snaps.

The condition of the player influences playing time also.. If they can afford to play Scandrick less, it works in thier favor. Not just because Brown has been playing well, but Scandrick has been playing with plantar fasciitis in his feet. Rest is the best medicine. Less playing time may make Scandrick more effective.

Any draft class will be hard pressed to be better than the Dirty Dozen, which I think was in 1975. That was a dominant draft class. Randy White was the best, but there were 11 more rookies that made the team. We also went to the Super Bowl that year.

Funny i heard it here that picking zeke was stupid because you cant find a player at Ramseys caliber in the 6th round. Looks like we came pretty damn close.

Other than Ramsey, I find it hard to believe there is another rookie CB playing definitively better ball than Brown.

PFF's grades suck by the way.
For much of this season, Rashad Robinson (SF) has been mentioned as a potential DROY. Have to give the guy his props.
Eli Apple has been pretty odd too.

We DID get a huge steal in Brown though.

Don't think so fellas. Rod loves him some Scandrick.

When Claiborne, Carr, Scandrick, and Brown were all healthy earlier in the year, it was Brown on the sidelines.
No, Garrett bumped Scandrick down to Nickel only with Brown and Carr as the starters. Scandrick said it was Garrett's decision.
