When did the rules change to make that down at the one instead of a touchback? What is the rule now?

He was touched down when he landed at the one. He rolled into the endzone, but he initially landed at the one. Thats why he was down at the 1.

Yep. Momentum carried him into the end zone AFTER he bounced off the ground at the 1.

That was a beautiful pick turned located the ball nice to see Brown come up with one. Dan Quinn and DB coach Witt are doing some nice things in this secondary .

I consider it more of an underthrown pass by Hurts, but at least Brown did turn and make the play.

You can rewatch the INT on Twitter, or YouTube. He was touched down at the one yard line. Before falling into the end zone.

Underthrown but in the past I’ve seen Dallas DB’s not turn not locate the ball and get flagged for PI ball spot of the foul.

True, but if hurts puts it over the top its a TD. But that's something we didn't do before. Our CBs never made the play when opposing QBs made mistakes like that. Now we are, so happy to see it, even if he was beat lol

I guess he was on the one. The ball looked awful close to the end zone though.

It wouldn't have been an issue if they just ran the ball. Dak got 4 yards just falling forward. I never like passing against the goal line unless its short, quick throws

I’m sure it was a bad pass by Hurts, but better QBs often under-throw a well covered receiver hoping he finds the ball and comes back for it. Brown found it first. It was still excellent coverage and a great play in that instance.

No rule change
You have always been down when you are touched when on the ground

And he caught it
In past years our DB have dropped several ints
Diggs rubbing off on them lol

Even if nobody had touched him until he was in the end zone his feet were down at the one. You can't take it back into the end zone for a touchback.
