Corners take up a lot of cap space. To find one who can play in the sixth is like finding a QB in the fourth, huge. Scouts had him with a 3rd or 4th round grade so it looks like they knew what they were doing.

Yeah the tackling in the secondary has improved 10 fold over last year.

Great speed and really tackles well. He's not stiff either. I think we wouldn't even have to 'think' we got a steal if he learns to use the proper arm to defend his passes. Very impressive.

I'm curious about what they're doing to treat Tapper. Can he not have some kind of surgery to make the problem better?

I remember when we drafted Orlando Scandrick....I didnt' know much about him but people around college vouched for him which to me is always intriguing to me especially for a later pick like a 5th round pick. I remember the quote about June Jones saying Scandrick was the best pick of our whole 2008 draft which actually wasn't a bad draft either with Jenkins, Martellus, Felix, etc

Brown had similar buzz. Maybe no one to be there to say he's our best draft pick but I so a lot of people considering him a steal where we got him and seeing him more of a 3rd or 4th round pick and that's value we got in the 6th round.

If you're going to hit like this on the draft then I Don't mind taking gambles like Jaylan Smith in the 2nd round. Even if Jaylan doesn't pan out or the nerve never fires up this draft is still one of the best in recent memory.
