Just wondering...when Anthony Henry came after Aaron Rodgers how/where was he lined up? Was he coming off the corner, the slot, etc?

My friend said that it looked like he may have been lined up like a blitzing safety (The way Roy may have been played) ?

just curious b/c it seemed pretty effective

He was lined up as a dime linebacker, so he would be over the slot receiver or TE.

In his prime, Roy was most effective blitzing the gaps.

He was lined up over the slot receiver when he was blitzing. IDK what type of funky Max protect GB was trying to do but it was really weird.

He was blocked I know on one of them, but then got loose because the coverage was so good, and if you let a CB loose on you, you're not escaping.

It must have been something Wade saw in "Green Bays best game plan ever since I've been here"...........:D

Supposedly in TC Henry really wasn't ready to make a permanent change to SS. Anybody thinking he might start changing his mind? Also if Henry was lined up like we used to use Roy, why was Henry so much more effective? Oops I answered my own questio but it makes sense that Henry is simply faster then Roy.

Henry is smart, a good tackler, has good size and has a knack for interceptions. He's perfect for safety.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Henry move to safety at some point in his career. I have no idea when that will happen but he's playing a safety role covering the TE.

in all honesty that sack he had on Aarond Rodgers would have never been a sack on other stronger QB's. It looked like he grabbed his arm and the rest of Henrys body went flailing by the QB. If that was D-Mac Henry would have never had him. But Rodgers went down pretty easily on that one I thought. I thought Henry looked slow running tot he QB. But he got him so I guess that is all that counts.

At some point he'll be a safety. In fact over the summer he said he would welcome the change, when it was the right time. So I imagine eventually he'll at safety.

I think if the coverage is solid down field, it makes up for less speed. I will defend Henry a little in saying those were his first two career sacks, so maybe he can work on his take-down technique :) But I like the idea of using him in this capacity more often.

I've been saying that for three years. I hope they finally make it official & make him SS. Not only can he cover better than any safety we have, but can tackle as well as most. I really hope they continue blitzing AH. He is very good at it because of his speed, smarts, & tackling ability.

Wow, look at that 2nd picture. The ball has just been snapped and they only player moving-starting the play ( offense or defense) is Ware.

Thank goodness that wasnt called offsides. Or was it?

The ball is moving. Look at the frame before it. That's one reason he's so great. Unbelievable reflexes
