Anthony Hitchens

I don't understand the notion that Hitchens was ever "bad."

He had a pretty dang good rookie season in '14 and didn't see as much playing time last year because Lee was healthy and Ro wasn't doing Ro things.

He's looked lost, out of place, bad angles... rarely hear his name other than highlighting mistakes. It's really not manufactured he's looked pretty bad.

However, he looked fantastic last night. Wow. Hope we see more of that.

I think it was more due to how many thought he would be good vs reality. He might be above average but i dont think he ll be that "play maker on defense" that many voiced. Nothing bad but it happens.

It's more about the way he played to start the season, Titleist. He was getting destroyed in passpro.

He played exceptional last night and, God willing, is turning the corner. This is his year three season, let's hope he's starting to develop the way we thought he would after his promising rook year.

He was nothing short of exceptional last night.

This.

Can't count on him til he does it consistently. Really nice to see, tho.

This board is always looking for a whipping boy.

Jerry, Garrett, Claiborne, free, Wilcox, Heath, whitehead, scandrick, Carr, costa, spencer, Bruce carter, coakley... take your pick

Keep in mind he's in his natural position now. With Ro and Lee last year he played out of position

He really hasn't been a whipping boy though. Most everyone was really high on him and he didn't live up to the expectations. Not everything critical is with malice or agenda. Dude just had a rough year.

I felt Hitchens stepped up last night and played to what he is capable of. He just needs to continue putting in the work and effort

With Durant out, did Nzeocha get any playing time in last night. I still want to see what he can do out there.

I think most of the criticism has been about his run fits . He was good in his zone drops and looked like he had a little more burst last night, but not as quick as Durant or Wilson
