I thought I had heard or read somewhere that hyperbaric treatment was only useful within a very short time after initial injury. Could be wrong.

Probably a wise move on his part. There is no real guarantee that micro fracture surgery is going to correct the problem allowing him to continue his career.

Yes, I believe so.

I think he's played his last down in Dallas but he's doing what he can for his career after this season.

I don't blame him at all... Micro fracture surgery should be the absolute last result.

worth a try for him. if it does improve to the point he can play then he can sign with someone next year. but his earning days are over with those knee's. sad for him, he is a good player
